The DIPC would like to thank all 189 Applicants to the 2025 Competition. Applications were received from 32 countries.  Live auditions for twelve Irish applicants took place at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin on December 20th and 177 international pianists applied by submitting videos online.

The standard of applications was exceptionally high, making the adjudicating process thoroughly enjoyable.  It was a challenge to narrow the number of those to progress to the First Round down to 66 Candidates.

The First Round will be available to view at this link.  Each candidate will perform a programme of thirty minutes.  They will be released to the DIPC YouTube Channel throughout the month of February 2025 and will remain there for public viewing for a limited time.  Further information will follow in January.   The programmes to be performed by each of the First Round Competitors will be available at this link.
