1st Prize €20,000, sponsored by KPMG

2nd Prize €10,000, sponsored by Tom Corran

3rd Prize €5,000, sponsored by Stewart and Avice Harrington

The three main prizes awarded by the Jury will be based on performances in all rounds.

The Joe McCullough Prize for Chamber Music of €2,000 will be awarded for the best performance of a piano quintet in the Semi-Final Round, sponsored by Elizabeth Aylmer and Eoin McCullough.

The Ita Stephens Prize for Beethoven of €2,000 will be awarded to the best performance of a work by Beethoven in any round of the Competition, sponsored by Fiona Eogan.

The Charles J. Brennan Prize of €1,500 and the McCullough Bursary of €7,500 will be awarded to the highest-placed Irish competitor in the Competition.

A prize of €1,000 each will be awarded to the five semi-finalists not admitted to the finals. These are sponsored by Siobhán Brady,  Colma Brioscú, Hilary Collins and Brenda and David Wilkes.
