The 12th Dublin International Piano Competition will take place in 2022, from May 13 to May 24.

A welcome message from DIPC founder and artistic director, Irish pianist John O’Conor:

“It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all to the newly-designed website of the Dublin International Piano Competition. We have worked hard to make the website informative, interesting and easy to navigate.

I hope it will encourage many young pianists to enter for the 12th DIPC in May 2022 and join the many past participants in enjoying the warmth, hospitality and friendliness for which Irish people are so renowned. The Dublin Competition has become world famous for the efficiency with which it is organised and for the empathy that is shown to every performer. We want every young pianist to give of their best and we make every effort to make that possible. We look forward to extending our Céad Míle Fáilte – a hundred thousand welcomes – to each competitor.”
