Irish pianist Hugh Tinney to join the DIPC 2025 Jury
American pianist Anne-Marie McDermott has unfortunately had to withdraw from the Jury of the 2025 Dublin International Piano Competition for personal reasons. Anne-Marie was a member of the Jury of the 2022 Competition and the Competition Administration is saddened that she cannot now be with us.
However, we are very pleased that Irish pianist – and a former member of the DIPC Jury – has agreed to take her place at short notice. The DIPC thanks Hugh for his willingness to re-arrange his plans and step up to the plate. He will join colleagues from Japan (Noriko Ogawa), France (Michel Béroff), Hungary (Dénes Várjon), UK / Australia (Piers Lane) and USA/Ireland (Katie McGuinness) to form a truly international jury, chaired by the DIPC’s Artistic Director Finghin Collins.

Dublin International Piano Competition is an approved body under the terms of Section 848A of the 1997 Taxes Consolidation Act, whereby donations in between €250 and €1,000,000 per annum are eligible for tax relief. Such relief accruing to the Competition.
