This mentoring programme is open to outstanding young pianists between the ages of 15 and 20. 

Applicants will have been born on or between the dates of January 1st 2006 and January 1^st 2011.  

Across the calendar year 2026, the successful participants will be afforded, at no cost, a programme of workshops and masterclasses.  The aim is to help them understand what it takes to prepare seriously for an international piano competition, by enlightening them with the skills required of professional classical musicians both at and beyond the keyboard

They will also be taken to concerts and other cultural events and at the end of the year the DIPC will present them in a showcase concert.  The participants will also be presented with opportunities to gain multi-faceted experience participating in festivals such as New Ross Piano Festival.

A maximum of five participants will be selected by audition, to be held at the RIAM in Dublin on Saturday, December 20th 2025.
