25TH OCTOBER 2025
The DIPC is delighted to welcome back its 2015 Winner Nathalia Milstein, and its 2018 Winner Saeyoon Chon to Dublin this autumn for an exciting two-piano concert, featuring both artists performing solo works and works for piano duo. The programme for this delightful evening at the RIAM’s Whyte Recital Hall is as follows:
Chon:
Schumann – Davidsbündlertänze Op. 6
Milstein:
Chopin – Three Mazurkas Op. 50
Chopin – Polonaise-Fantasie Op. 61
Chon/ Milstein:
Stravinsky/ Babin – Three Movements from ‘Petrushka’
Debussy – Nuages
Rachmaninov – Russian Rhapsody
Since their success in the DIPC, both pianists lead busy schedules as concerts as concert pianists. In addition to this, South Korean pianist Chon is an adjunct music faculty member of NYU. Meanwhile French Pianist Milstein recently reached the Finals of the Queen Elizabeth International Piano Competition, and has been selected to compete in the 2025 Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw this October. In this fabulous lineup, we will have the honour of sampling Milstein’s Chopin repertoire. Chon wowed Dublin in his début concert in November 2023 at the Pavilion Theatre, Dún Laoghaire – and we have since been looking forward to his return.
