DIPC Young Pianists Programme 2027
Applications for the 2027 DIPC Young Pianists Programme are now open until 5pm on Wednesday 25th November 2026.
This mentoring programme is open to outstanding young pianists between the ages of 15 and 20. Applicants will have been born on or between the dates of January 1st 2007 and January 1st 2012.
Across the calendar year 2027, the successful participants will be afforded, at no cost, a programme of workshops and masterclasses. The aim is to help them understand what it takes to prepare seriously for an international piano competition, by enlightening them with the skills required of professional classical musicians both at and beyond the keyboard.
A maximum of six participants will be selected by audition, to be held at the RIAM in Dublin on Saturday, December 19th 2026.
Dublin International Piano Competition is an approved body under the terms of Section 848A of the 1997 Taxes Consolidation Act, whereby donations in between €250 and €1,000,000 per annum are eligible for tax relief. Such relief accruing to the Competition.
